Chair incorporating the Norse/Celtic Weave design. Made from joinery quality Scandinavian softwood. The Re-enactment groups sometimes question its connection with the Viking/Norse culture. Some Historians believe the Vikings may have slept in a sitting position. What ever culture it originated from, it is likely to be the earliest form of knock-down and re-build furniture to be able to be pulled apart and easily transported.
